very easy to do, some fishing line, gloves and in a few minutes they came of. Used some glueremover to clean. Simple to do and it looks great.

.... Wreck one time (you will eventually) ....
It's a myth that all bikers are destined to wreck at some point.

Wally
I disagree. I've known hundreds of bikers over the past 30+ years that I've been riding HDs, and the only ones who haven't had some sort of accident are the ones who only ride a few thousand miles a year. Anyone who rides a lot has a 99% chance that they will be involved in an accident. That's a fact! Of course the dealers tell the newbies that it isn't true so they can sell the bikes. I've been an instructor for many years and have seen the data that proves my point. I've even known instructors who will tell the trainees the same thing about it not being true, even though they know facts. They just don't want to scare anyone away. I don't consider it "scaring" them, I consider it "informing" them of the potential hazards. By the way, even falling down in a parking lot counts as a wreck.

And yes, I can see why someone would want to remove them just for looks, but to me, safety is more important than petty little things like reflectors. And YES, they do work, believe it or not. Those "tiny" reflector put out quite a bit of light when hit by a car's headlights. There have been times when I didn't see a bike pass in front of me until my headlights hit their reflectors, allowing me to avoid them. Take em off if you like.... it's your life. I wouldn't unless it was a show bike. I actually ride my bike, so I prefer to make it was safe as possible. Every little bit makes it more likely that the blind cagers will see you.

As long as there is chrome on the bike, it can be seen just fine. The reflectors on the forks came off pretty easy, but the ones on the back fender had a different type of double stick tape and i had to spend at least on hour with alcohol and sraching with my finger nail.

I'm not trying to be condescending, I'm simply stating a fact.
