I just purchased an '07 blue denim bob. A service guy mentioned to me that the '07 denims have some sort of special clear coat treatment that the '06's did not have that is supposed to protect very well. I have heard dealers talking about people complaining about oily fingerprints, etc. not coming off the paint of the '06s.
I bought the Vivid Black because it was cheaper. My forward controls were free because I saved 300+ on the paint. LOL Really I like vivid black, my truck is the same color. I went to the dealer one day and it was on the floor along with a denim and a cherry but I liked the vivid better. To each his own. I'm definitely in the minority here though. Hell I like 'em all.
