i have to agree.i had an 06 black denim bob and my rear fender got scratched.if i had glossy paint i could have buffed it out.but denim no way.went and had the fender repainted at the dealer and it didnt match.it looked a little more glossy than ever.and the black was way off.repainted and still no luck.whatever i dealt with it.the riding on the highway something hit my tank and left a deep scratch then i sold it said hell with it.since ive bought a black pearl night train.save yourself the trouble.i loved the color at first but went to hell for it.

Had mine for about a year now. Easy to clean and no scratches. Only mark is 1 small rock chip in tank. I love it.

Hey, I use Turtle Wax Ice on my Black denim, only once a month, rest of the time, Ice detail spray, never wash my bike, this stuff makes everything come off easy. Hope this helps.

I bought mine in 06 with the denim. I have no complaints about the paint. The only problem was the crappy HD 1" bumper bads for the pillion. Dont buy them and get a piece of rubber instead and super glue it to the bottom. Who cares what color you buy! Buy what you want and "F" the people that dont like it!!

I like my pewter denim Street Bob. Bought in in Sept. 2006, a 2007 model. Very little trouble with the paint. Chrome is too much work to keep clean.
