just got back from florida
well it was cold but not as cold as iowa. spent a couple weeks in florida riding the wideglide around, did 10 miles short of 1000. down from orlando to key west, back up through naples and sarasota. good times, dyna did awesome.

Down in the keys we traveled pretty easy but long. Its alot of stopping when you get into the towns. And I was really surprised how long it actually takes to get from mainland to key west. Glad we stayed the night just south of homestead before riding to key west.

A lot of people are surprised about the long drive to Key West. Used to live in north FL and I'm quite aware what the winter can bring. As much as I would like to go to bike week in the spring I will just wait for Biketoberfest in the fall, the weather seems to be more predictable. Glad you had a good time. Did you stay overnight in the Keys, if so, where?

stayed behind the wickerhouse 2 nights, just off duval, was a good time but i retired much too early both nights. Started drinking way too early first day we rode in and second night wife got sick and she knows its dangerous to let me roam around alone in strange places when im drinking!
