wasted mods!
well if i had it to do over and would have found this site first, i would have went with differnt pipes, programmer, and intake. also should have went with 16" bars first that cost cables and bars twice, been through three seat and still not sure, would have done paint differntly i think, just black no flames. o and i wouldnt have wrecked definatly useless mod!!!!!!
the 19" stock rim I have for the front would look stupid with the wide trees. So If I wanted to go back to my 19 with a 110 tire, I would feel the need to reinstall my 39mm narrow front end again...So while I don't have anything against the wide front end, I find that I wasted my money on it as I think I would prefer my old wheels on the bike powdercoated black.
Ditto...I wasted $150.00 with the stage 1 download cuz I ended up getting the SE Pro Super Tuner and had the bike dyno tuned. I did spend some $$$ getting the round SE intake, but went back to the '08-'09 SE intake for now...but I'm still thinkin' about going back to the round intake.
I'm thinkin' about going with a 2-1 exhaust, but I do like the Sideshots, so no regrets with the exhaust and no regrets with the Pirelli Night Dragon tires, wheels, rotors, 2" LI risers, bars and mirrors...
Wasted money on 6" Choppers Inc 6 gun Risers and probably more on the 9" risers that I put on now as I will more than likely end up with 10" T bars eventually. So in total about $400. Really not too bad and only a drop a in the bucket considering the amount of money I put down the tubes on my Camaro before the Harley.
And on a side note, I think I'm done with powdercoating parts and pieces. It looks great and all but I'm getting my fairing mounted and painted and then focusing on suspension and motor work.

The only thing I regret was using brake cleaner to take off the reflectors on the front... it took some of the clear coat off on the right side. Don't usually notice it much unless I am looking at it and each time I do I kick myself for not using the Goo Gone I had in the garage.
The nice thing is though, if you buy something you don't like, post it on Ebay and get most of your money back. I tried a Sundowner seat, didn't like it, sold it for $15 less than I paid. Same with my Windvest when I switched to the FXDXT fairing.
The only regret I have is buying a cheap POS HF jack instead of a J&S. Although the cheap jack did lead to a custom painted gas tank

I remember posting on another thread very simular to this one, the HD stage 1 download is still in there, and useless as the others mentioned, the one I regret the most is the pcV which gets water in the connector and has to be removed and dried out each time I get caught in the rain. Maybe not each time but it is a PITA to ride wet and have to worry the damn connector is going to cause me to crap out by the side of the road! And the last time my H-dealer serviced some warranty issue they had a kid wash the bike for me and he totally drowned it for me. I found at least 2 tbls. of h2O in it that time..........wishing I had the TTS mastertune!
The other is the prog 440's/ front prog fork springs I picked up or 459$shipped that Rounder is going to tell me I wasted money on,but I'm not sure yet weather I will disagree with Him since they aren't on yet and I can't ride until mid to end O' March!!!!
