Do you think you can actually deal under MSRP for the 07's? I've read a couple posts that state people did. I would think maybe in the winter of this year or possible middle spring of next you can start to see deals on the 07's. Until then I wouldn't think you can get a bike under MSRP as they have just came out.
Off hand chance any posters out there from Michigan give me a heads up on dealer experiences here in Michigan? I've been dealing with two atm, pretty reputible from what I have been told of my buddies that ride.
I agree that it all depends on your location. I live in eastern NC and I've only ever seen one Bob on the road besides mine. I'm almost sure I saw another blue one this past week travelling on the opposite side of the highway from me. That would only make two, and I cover a lot of territory when working and leisuring. The largest dealer in my area had 06's Bobs on the floor for straight MSRP a couple weeks ago, and I basically paid MSRP for mine at a smaller dealer. When I started to haggle the F&I manager won't even considering it. I think it depends on how the dealer owner feels about the lining of his pockets and not so much the market.
Well,... I wouldnt expect much better than MSRP on an 07, but a friend of mine who works at a local dealership stated that starting Monday they will be selling their remaining 06 models at around $1,000 under MSRP. I have also seen another dealer in my area adding 95in kits and also adding alot of chrome extras to their 06 units for free and selling them at MSRP.
Never happen around here. They are still selling the few '06 models they have at MSRP. You are real good if you can get them to drop prep and freight...
