Default What a difference pipes and bars make!!!!

Howdy folks,
Just got my Vance & Hines ProPipe BP installed, K&N Filter, Burly Drag Bar sitting on 4" pull back risers. Wiring all internal on the bar and what a difference. The stock bar actually hurt my wrist when I locked it up backing up the bike and felt like I was holding plow handles on the road.

Now it feels exactly right, sounds like a healthy Hog and looks like a million bucks. I had to remove the turn signals as the pull back risers and drag bar made them too low and they would hit the tank. Have gotta figure out some other turn signal deal. The ones in the mirrors are nice..but Yeow!!! are they ever pricey...but they are nice. Don't ya' just hate it when ya' find something thats nice like that and costs a fortune. Oh well.

As soon as I get the Rifle Roadster fairing on, I'll check out some sigs.

Remarkable transformation taking place. The bike is coming to life. Shocks and progressive springs for the front end and away we go. My 09 Super Glide canvas is becoming art.

Paint next winter!!! The bike is Harley Black right now, the Roadster fairing is going to arrive black. Ah yes. Painted rims and fork lowers done to match, swing arm painted...no more or I'll start it now.

Any great ideas on Signals? The mirror mounted guys ARE nice!

Sounds good, but you know this crowd wants to see the photos. Personnally, I'd like to see a photo those internally-wired bars / risers.

it really does help doesn't it? PICS? I'm looking at getting signals for mine from headwinds. I'm just taking a little time to talk myself into spending that much money on signals. I like the vipers..

I can't tell for sure since there are no PICS, LOL! But when I put on my street slammers, I kept the signals on the bars and all I did was buy the signal mount off the SE dyna. It moved the signals out like a 1/2" just enough so they wouldn't hit the tank.

You'd ALMOST think that folks wanted pictures...er...demand pictures. lol Well I'll post a whack of pictures when I find out how to do it. I'll take a few close ups of the internally wired drag bar too.

Where do I find the instructions?

Pat

You can click Go advance next to post quick reply below and attach a file. The best way is open a photobucket.com account, upload pics and then copy the "IMG" link and paste it right here in the quick reply and the you have a pic when you post.

Here's a pic of my new V&H while waiting for a pic of his. By the way; I'm sure someday a cop is going to pull me over. A big difference in sound from the original screaming eagle pipes. Sounds good, but it is scary being around cops with it.

Lucky do you not run turn sig. on the front? I don't and think it looks way better. Bike looks sweet.
