You may have this, but if you haven't, here is a great thread on tank guts removal:

lmfaooo, on the Help from the streets, folks around here 2x4 bikes and throw it in a van...

That write up is great....but it demonstrted that center guage, and components under neath.. i want to remove that fuel level guage...on the left.

so if anybody knows how to remove it... pleasee lemme now.. i just dont know if its twist off, pull out or secured by a bolt somehow.

JCK, thanks, soon as its apart and shipped, ill walk to the auto store and buy a container of white grease and that dielectric stuff and 3M the connectors. as well as the gaskets.

ok, quik bump for an update.. The Tins,, yes, ladies and Gents, the Tins are off WOW.. that was utterly easier than i expected..
Granted the rear fender was by far the hardest... seein how the Aluminum Bolts kinda seized up and took a bit of muscle to crack... not to mention figuring out the disassembly of the rear lights... its simple enuff.

Gimme some time. Ill put together a write up.. Just have a few errrands to run. and then some dinner and a few cold ones, then ill put together this write up.

Thanks everyone for the Pm's and the well wishes..
Tomorrow Tins go in the mail to "PairaDice paints"

JCK.. im in a frenzy right now..
