Greeting, still new to HD Forums and have a question regarding a headlight swap from a Wide Glide to Fat Bob. I purchased a new Fat Bob a few months ago (really liked those dual headlights). I do have a 14" x 18" Windvest (after exchanging a 14" x 16") and still have unacceptable buffeting above 60 mph. After reading all the threads on the various HD windscreens I am not convinced moving to a bigger windscreen will solve my issue. I am 6'2" and recently installed a Mustand Vinage Solo seat which probably puts me up higher in the saddle than the stock seat
I live in a rural location so highway travel is a must. I do not want a touring bike
I really like the Rifle Roadster and see they have a mounting solution for a Wide Glide. So.....I am guessing the only hardware change I need to consider is a headlight swap to use this fairing? Has anyone does this and do you have a pic? Thank you for your replies
