So I really want to get the daymaker on my fat bob. My question is I know obviously need the headlight but do I need a new headlight bucket? I would assume so since the one there now wont work.
Also, I kinda like to 2 light look, would you be able to fit the smaller daymakers on there like the road glides have?
Pretty sure HD still doesn't make the daymaker for the FXDF. I think just abnout every other bike in the lineup has one available. Not sure what they're waiting for...

If you looked at what they did to it in '14 you'd think they want to discontinue that line. - sarchasm, sorry could,t help it.
But I'll wager they will sell alot more single headlight setups seeing as the FB and WG are the only two bikes with that setup.
Well when you go to the HD website and shop for your bike it says the daymaker works on the fat bobs. That's what confused me, I also know people have put it on the fat bob before. Just don't know how. I suppose I could buy the ones for the road glide and have a custom headlight bucket made.
You CAN put a daymaker on a Fatbob, you just have to replace the bucket.
Step 1 - Buy a 5-3/4" or 7" headlight housing.
Step 2 - Buy the appropriate sized LED Daymaker.
Step 3 - Modify headlight wiring/connector.
Step 4 - Install assembly on Fatbob.
IF you're looking to keep the dual headlight Fatbob housing. You are out of luck. There currently is NO LED Daymaker headlight setup available to fit.
as above, if you want to keep the stock housing the best you can do currently is some silverstar ultras or piaa xtreme whites. (im sure im missing a good bulb or 2).
between that and properly adjusting the housing you can put a pretty good amount of light downrange.
