As a Street Bob owner....I'm biased. With that being said, the WG was my #2 choice.
The WG has cooler looking stock pipes (though most will remove within minutes), already has forwards installed, already has passenger pegs, already has a passenger seat, and has a mini sissy bar too. But you're paying for all that plus a little more.
I think you can't go wrong with either. Both are awesome.
Well the 120 is pushing the high side. fluctuates between 115-120... I've tried everything to gain. I can eat anyone out of house and home. Just a bottomless pit. The lady hates this quality. Lol. But like I said earlier, this was a major concern when I started looking for a bigger bike. Of all the bikes I sat on, and scooter around, this seemed the most balanced and comfortable to me. The seating and positioning also feels most accommodating for my size.
Great news!! My friend called me and he cut me a deal for a WG '10 for 25% off list price, it has 60 miles on it haha.. it's only ever been driven out for photoshoots!
Now here's the funny part of the story, so after the conversation I ask him so where is the Harley now and where can we meet up to sign everything?
He tells me It's at Taddy's Harey, which is the first Harley shop I ever went to.. ever, and where I originally sat on a WG 2010 for the first time and completely fell in love with it.. it was there I decided to get the MC license to be able to buy a harley..
Turns out THAT'S the damn bike I'm buying, it was mine from day one!
Now I'm really happy and scared shitless at the same time, I'm worried about the ride home seeing as I've never ever drove a cruiser like that!
Youll be fine, take your time, be carefull and get the feel of the bike, they all feel a little strange at first, but then they all begin to fit like a glove the more miles you ride them..Congrats on the WG.
so my first ride was an 08 nightster...the dealership had to deliver it to me since they had to add forward controls plus do all the oils and what not...couldn't wait to get on it...5 minutes after I took delivery I dumped it...too much power combined with years of not being on a scoot...best of luck with your ride...enjoy and don't forget to post pics...
