Love my WG.
I'm 6'4'' 245ish and I would be extremely cramped with mids.

my step dad has a street bob with forward controls put on, looks alright seats pretty nice as well, but i prefer the looks of the wide glide. with the skinny front tire it looks better with the added rake of the front end. my op.

Yesterday I went to pay and sign everything, I can't bring it home quite yet though since they need to request an ownership change, and then I need to insure it.
As of now it looks like I can get it home next Thursday, can't wait!!

Had a quite nice moment there too in the shop, when I entered the WG 2010 was standing in the middle of the shop in front with a lot of signs on it like "Please don't sit, already sold!" or something in those lines, obviously first thing I did when I entered was to walk up there and sit down on it!
The guy in the cash registry went "Please don't sit on that, we've already sold it" upon which I responded "Yeah I know.. because I'm the one who bought it!".

Also as luck would have it, when I sat down on it yesterday it just didn't feel even close to as heavy as I remembered it, which I must say was quite a big confidence boost as well for the first ride home!

Now here's the funny part of the story, so after the conversation I ask him so where is the Harley now and where can we meet up to sign everything?
He tells me It's at Taddy's Harey, which is the first Harley shop I ever went to.. ever, and where I originally sat on a WG 2010 for the first time and completely fell in love with it.. it was there I decided to get the MC license to be able to buy a harley..

Turns out THAT'S the damn bike I'm buying, it was mine from day one!

Now I'm really happy and scared shitless at the same time, I'm worried about the ride home seeing as I've never ever drove a cruiser like that!

Congradulations! you will not be dissapointed. Also since the WG has the forwards already installed you can see how this bike fits you and decide later if you want they Kury extended forwards put on later.

Have fun and Safe riding!

Looks good. Black is the best color (in my eyes) for a SB or the new WG.
