Wideglide conversion front fender spacers?
Changing out 03 lowrider 39mm narrow front to 08 wideglide 49mm front. Anybody know what I would need for fender spacers. What is the width between the forks for the fender. I see that they sell many different widths of spacers but need to know how wide to order. Has anyone just spread out the narrow fender to fit without spaces? How did that go?

When I did my 39mm conversion they used 4, 1 3/8 inch chrome spacers with 2 inch bolts. Can't say for sure since your doing the 49mm. But I can say this, if you had a drill press and some 1/2 or 5/8 inch stainless rod, you could make a set awful easy. On my setup, they are 4 very primitive spacers that they chromed.
