i know this sound stuipd but i would get the whole front end replaced. forks , front wheel, fender etc.... mainly b/c w/o replacing everything there are no tests or measurments that will get that bike 100% again. i know b/c something like happned to me on my crotch rocket a few yrs ago
Well your lucky he admitted to it. I had a former co-worker back into my old buell at work and pretty much ran over it only he didn't tell anyone. He set my bike back up and tried to reattach my mirror. Lucky for me someone spotted him doing this and turned him in. He tried denying everything my boss fired him on the spot! And my company paid for the repairs. But as some have said i never trusted the bike again so i traded it in on another bike.
i would file a accident report with the local authorities and have his insurance co. pay for all damages when it comes to friends wrecking my stuff they are not my friends!
like the title say a guy at work back into my bike, he back into the front wheel and push my bike back about 18 inches . it didn't fall over but he scape up the lower right fork and bent the fender, now when i take my hands off the handle bars at forty it shakes bad. plus looking str8 at the fork with bike in upright position it looks like the front tire is closer to the left fork. I never notice this before is that normal?? let me know waht you think??
From your avatar, you seem to be a little older. My point is, why are you asking the guys on a forum about what to do? File a police report, call insurance company, etc, etc etc.
I wouldn't necessarily ride it until you call insurance, etc.

I dont think he asked for any advice about what to do.....he asked if the offset wheel was normal....
New forks, fender, tire, rim...dont accept nothing less than brand new, once the insurance pays its over, they will wash thier hands of the whole mess and something will turn up..tell the shop you want it AS NEW, NEW PARTS.
