I agree, the decals on the Bob look like ****. I removed them and put a 3 inch tank lift on and it looks great. If i ever trade the bike in I'll order new ones and put them back on. Just because you remove a tank badge dosen't mean your ashamed you bought a harley. Where did that come from? Besides, my derby cover says harley on it, and if you see my bike and can't tell its a harley I could care less. Now if Harley wants to pay me to advertise then they can airbrush their insigna on my tank.lol
They would probably make that look cheap too. I'm saving
for a custom paint job. I'm goint to start shopping some locals.
Any sugg. for St.Louis Area.

Are you all ashamed you bought a Harley. I don't know why you would want to remove the Harley Badge. It definently reduces the value of your bike when you remove the name badge. It makes your bike look like an old Clunker, ready for the scrapyard or a restoration.

I lay awake at night worried about the value of my bike as it sits in the garage. That some dumbass cager will not know what it is when I pull up beside them. That the absence of $20 worth of aluminum stickers on an otherwise brand new bike makes it look like a complete piece of ****. Those three things are more important than what I think looks better on my bike. I'll put them back on this afternoon. Thanks for clearing it up.

Just think about it......without a tank badge,
No harley rider will ever give you the wave.
You could pull up next to a honda and the other guy won't feel like crap.
All cagers will say, what is that?
Worry about theft will fade away.
You could wear a Suzuki T-shirt.
You could tell your wife you only spent $7000 on a new bike.
Nothing to be ashamed about.
