Lowers painted!
The paint is rustoleum appliance epoxy and I got it at Home Depot. The following two links were helpful for me.

Make sure to clean the forks well after sanding, I used acetone and a tack cloth.

Ouch - that looks sore mate! Nice job on the forks though, I did mine a few weeks ago (easy for me as I do some spraying professionally). Good point about nobody mentioning the dust. For future reference, If I'm doing small jobs lie this in my workshop I always put down a large sheet of cardboard and damp it down with the garden sprinkler. It stops the dust kicking up as you walk around. you'll never get rid of it all no matter how much you brush and vacuum but damping it down sticks it to the floor where it belongs!

man i've been dying to paint my lowers. but then the triple trees are gonna stick out, then they will need to be blacked out... its a vicious cycle. but i think i may just wait and send all that next winter (thats what i said before this winter?!?!?) to Joe, JRK and have him powdercoat them gloss black for me...
Nice job though seriously on the painting!! Looks great!!
looks good, i did mine over the winter as well. joe's post was awesome. make sure the coats are thin (mine ran the 1st try). i had to clean my step daughters bike seat from the overspray even though i had covered it there was a small rip. glad i found it b4 she did
