Wouldn't the guys insurance company be required to provide a rental while yours is being fixed? The only catch is they may not actually provide a motorcycle but would provide a car. Or worse yet, they may provide a motorcycle but not a Harley!

Whether or not you plan to do the repair work yourself, it might be a good idea to bring the bike to your dealer or indy to assess all the damage and have the insurance adjuster look at the bike there. I think you will get the most money for the repair that way, rather than having him come to your home.
