The pads come off real easy, and they only cost a couple of bucks from the dealer. If you are careful you should be able to reuse them a couple of times before they need to be replaced.

Anyone have any ideas on my vibration? I don't want this thing to spend 3 weeks in a dealer while they wait to get to it.......
That is what I was planning....I just could have thought Harley would have done that in the first place.
If it's not the clutch, what do you think it is? Did yours act similar?
Congrats on the new bike
These like to run at a little higher RPM so if you lug them down to much you get some vibration. If it goes away when the RPM's are up thats probally what it is.
I can feel it right off idle a little bit, and cruising in 5th at 60mph it just shakes until I give it a little gas, or pull the clutch in. When you pull in the clutch, the vibration slows then stops as the RPM's go down.....WTF? The bike had 4 miles on it, and is now at 43 since I drove it home.
1st off.. congrats.. that bike is bitchin!!
2nd off.. if you wanna sell your old stock black mirrors, let me know
what did you ride before you got the WG?? i recently purchased my street bob, and it is my 1st harley, and 1st rubber mounted engine.. i thought it shook like a bi*** too.. but after asking a few people, they all agreed it's just cause it's a dyna..
it feels like it's gonna shake me off corner's sometimes.. but i guess that's what it's supposed to do.. just keep the RPM's up
Congrats on the new ride. This is my wideglide with mirrors from demoncycle. Mirrors are fine but hope you have better luck with demoncycle than we did. Search for many threads about them if you have the time. Enjoy your new ride.

It sounds like you are lugging the motor, keep the RPMs a bit higher and it should smooth out. These big twins do not like to run at low RPM, and they don't rev all that high to boot. My Metric 4-cyl is WAY more flexible.
