Naw, sold them. Just have the Road King, the Sporty and the Wifes VSTAR. But that things for sale. All she cares about is the Sportster! She rode the Yamaha once since we got that Sporty.

Is this setup still performing well?

Without the compensator you'll feel every power pulse through the frame. A general misnomer is that the belt will absorb these shocks, but the belt is made of kevlar and doesn't stretch/give. You'll get used to more vibration over time. The BDL units actually lower your RPM's a slight bit, while the R-P units increase your RPM's a bit. I've had the Rivera-Primo 3" open belt on my FXSB for about 6K miles now. The only problem I had was that I didn't replace the stator seal and found that HD had installed a nicked seal that was leaking - had to pull the inner primary off again and install a new, reversed seal.

It IS quieter, but if you go to an open primary you can hear the clutch plates rattle around, especially in neutral. On the enclosed belt systems like the OP's that shouldn't be a problem. It also eliminates pretty much all the "clunk" when shifting into 1st at a light. The main advantage is that a correctly setup belt doesn't need adjustment and a tensioner. It doesn't stretch (kevlar) so it comes set up correctly from the Mfr. - it's one less thing to check all the time.
