shining jug edges?

I have the contrast cut jugs, and have removed the horn on my dyna. Underneath the horn the jugs are a bit dirty. Last night I rubbed a bit with steel wool. What are good ways to restore the shine on the fin edges?

Thats a tough one, mothers polish will make them shine , but its tedious and if you get polish on the blacked out jugs it just makes them look worse.

try a dremel with a cloth wheel. remember those grooves cut into the fins are there to dissipate heat so don't plug them up or try and sand them down.

OK i have a couple cloth wheels and some machine polish. Will test it out. Thanks for help.

Small block of flat wood, & 1000 / 1200 / 1500 wet and dry emery paper. Wet it with WD40 and rub. Unlike white polish it won't discolour the black paint on the jugs. Tried this on several bikes and it works just fine. Tried it on this one a while back (only bike I've got photos of where I tried it). I did lacquer this on over afterwards to stop it oxidising again but if polishing's your thing then once it's done it's no real probs to keep it looking good.
