Dude, you have my sympathies. 40 years of that crap makes me damn glad I don't have to do it any longer.

When I bought my Street Bob I experienced the wobble and was caught off guard and just thought it was a one off, blamed the road conditions and the bend but it happened too many times in different places to blame the road.Checked all mounts were ok,suspension bolts, head race etc..they were fine then read about it here..the Dyna wobble Part of the fun is gunning it around country roads, was'nt a prob with my XL1200R,but is with the Dyna, yea it's not the same bike but still..at times it's freakin' dangerous! Have changed to better tires and also fitted 11" HD PS on the rear and drop in's on the front, went bit way to improving things but has'nt eliminated the problem 100% Still have to take corners/long sweeping bends with respect to avoid the rear *** snakeing..if TT guarantee their product eliminates this 100% then it's a worthwhile investment,it ain't cheap to buy and as a *step towards eliminating this problem* is not good enough..It has to eliminate the problem totally..... does it ?

I'm not going to say 'yes' to your question, simply because each of us has different experiences when riding our bikes. I also reckon there are variations between bikes that are unpredictable, which is why some owners never experience this problem, while some of us go on about it.

What I will say is that once fitted a TT kit will transform your bike and you will feel it as you ride away for the first time. The bike will be more stable in a straight line, go more accurately where you point it and, as a bonus, handle far better. There is nothing you can do to a Dyna that will improve it more!

My FXDXT has the best forks and rear shocks fitted by Harley and my TT kit has transformed it.

Transformed as in eliminated the squirly back end or helped it make it no so pronounced ? Its a lot of money ,and yea ok like some people say only an hour to mount but... I dont just want to find I wasted my money for a few extra pieces of junk on my bike... the Dyna handles ok,even with apes and forwards I've been hanging sideways off the seat yanking it around some corners..but not *those* I know and can see will be a problem. Ive had the bike long enough to know it's limitations and ride within those, just if there's something on the market that promises things and especially to rubber mounted engine folk..it should deliver,not..well it worked on mine but all rides are different so I don't know is'nt the answer..the answer should be that when fitted it does the job..end of.. no grey areas.

And no I don't want a sporster or a night train lol...just love my Street Bob and whatever quirks it's got.. I love it lol

Sumpnut,

Nobody is going to give you a 100% guarantee about such things. My bike does not squirm, nor does my Electra Glide, which I also have a TT kit on. I also have a Buell and all three bikes have three stabilizers. It's the only way to travel!

Short of buying the thing for you what more can I say?!

I have to say that my bike still feels squirrely in the long sweepers and I have the TT installed. In a straight line, yes the bike does seem to track better but I still haven't found it to handle the long sweepers any better, even with a new rear tire w/ 750-1k miles on it so far.

Haha! Good one..... well at least I have'nt heard of any negs about the kit...just have to accept it goes most or best part of the way to cure the problem..but would hate to fit it..and still have the same effects cropping up,but if it cut out *most* of the weave to an acceptable level then it would have been worth it.

Untill then I'll just ride it within its tollerances

PS..Straight line stability is'nt the issue..my SB with the mods I've done so far handles like on rails..just *those* bends the TT is actually made for to cure .

PPS. Their claim is it stops rearsteer, weaving, wobbling and tank slappers..not maybe it does.

Just curious, (since I think my bike tracks pretty well in a straight line) under what conditiions does your bike track better in a straight line with the TT? When you hammer the throttle? high speeds?

Did it track poorly in a straight line before the TT?
