You could go with the radical surgery and do a Fat Boy front end like a few of us have done ... (actually it is not all that radical) ....

I went and ruined a perfectly good '05 FXDI ....

Chop... love what you did with your bike. I have a FXDWG that I'd like to do something like this to. Do you have a list of the mods you had to make? I'm particularly interested in putting a fatter front tire on mine... trying to find out what options I have.

 

U shouldn't pass up a chance to turn ur bike into an FL-Dyna.

The link I placed in post #14 on the second page of the thread was one of my primary resources and I even corresponded with Ken on a couple of questions I had .... Ken had started out his conversion of an '03 FXDWG with just swapping out his front wheel to a 16 x 3 and a Fat Boy front fender ....
