Bell

When somebody tells me something that they do superstitiously, I laugh and do just the opposite. So basically, I walk under ladders, I put my new shoes on the table, I ride without these so called bells, I break mirrors religiously, I own a black cat (and she's adorable), I put a hat on in bed, I cut my fingernails on Friday, I ALWAYS open my umbrella before I walk outside, I step on cracks in the sidewalk, when I'm riding/driving, I aim for sparrows, and I always try to push candles off the table. Notice a trend here...me neither...superstitions are dopey and mean nothing. But hey..if it makes you feel better to ease your OCD by adhering to mystical nonesense, go for it.
BTW..I probably have a problem with superstitions so much because for years I walked around with a pain in my groin...my grandfather told me I'd go blind and I believed him...bastard!
