Who beside me hasn't heard of the legend of the bell? Just heard of it at work last night. Pretty interesting. I could use all the help I can get. Will have to send the wife out soon. Have had a penny next to my driveway for a while. When I pick those up bad things happen!

its supposed to bring you good luck and keep all the road gremlins from taking you down. Ya can't buy it for yourself, someone has to buy it for you and ya can't ask for it. Do a search on this, I seem to remember a thread on this. I just eat lucky charms for breakfast.

If you do a search here you will find a ton of information on the ride bells. Most people have them.

I have one for the tradition, but I don't hold much with the superstution.

You can hook one to the little hole at the bottom of the front frender. At least I have one on my BOB.

A member of our local HD Chapter has a set of crash bars and on it he has a wire that has about 6 or more bells. I suppose he really wants to be safe from the road gremlins.
