Default Just installed new front end

Relatively new to the site. I just installed a 2006 front end on my 2003 Superglide. Ever since the Dynas increased the forks to 49mm I have wanted to do so. Always thought the Sportster forks looked a little wimpy on the Dynas.
I found it on ebay for $450. Needed to get a new fender to fit this "mid-glide" front end, ebay again. Had the option of purshasing a new hub and re-lacing the wheel (1" vs. 3/4" axle) or buying a new wheel. The cost was about the same so I bought the new spoked wheel. The total cost in parts was around $1500 including a new head lamp. Makes the bike look great!

Sounds great. I'm thinking about doing some front end work as well. Love to see some pics. Could you have used spacers and used your old fender?
