I am installing the screaming eagle compensator today and a quick question? The threads are left hand threads correct? I mean it takes a 13/16 inch socket and to loosen I turn counterclockwise if I am thinking about it right? I seem to have a little play either way I try to turn it and not sure that is normal? I don't want to break anything so thought I better ask..thanks.

on your 07 the compensator is right handed while your clutch is left handed.

Sorry if this has been answered before, I didn't see it, but is there a smaller front engine sprocket to fit on a 2012 Dyna? I would assume if there is, I'd need a shorter chain too. Anyone have info or a link for a smaller front sprocket?

your stock sprocket is 32 teeth, Andrews makes a pulley for dyna's that is 30 teeth no chain or belt change involved. Alan summers has a very good write up for that mod ;

Oh, sorry man... I guess I wasn't clear with what I was asking. I knew about the 30 tooth pulley, but I'm wondering about converting my front compensator sprocket in the primary to a smaller sprocket and possibly shorter chain. That will result in the effect of raising engine RPMs while cruising in 6th gear (or any gear), but not change the final drive pulleys or belt.
