Those are big numbers for what you have. I have a friend with the same bike with a Python 2-1, AN big sucker, PCV AND Andrews 26s and his bike dynoed @ 79 hp and 92 ft lbs. Good job
man i don't understand how guys get so many different numbers i have an 07 stock motor and stage I air cleaner and Big radius pipes With a SEPST and iam only getting 73.4HP and 86.4 Torque after another dyno run yesterday and its going back to the shop wed due to it still has an issue with surgging and cutting our in the low and mid range. This cut out issue has been happining before the sepst and the dyno run even when i had a PCIII.
They vary often, by operator, where the wheel sits on the drum and the dyno itself. SAE/STD are also factors and I'll take a guess that run was STD, Great numbers either way.
Those numbers are better than mine and I had the cams done. Did you buy it new or used? If you bought it used I would be inclined to think that it has some sort of non oem cams in it. I'm not doubting you, just those numbers seem very high for a stage 1. If its right than you are a lucky guy because most people have to spend money on cams to get those numbers. Either way enjoy the ride.
Mine was dyno'd at 68hp and 79tq with a PCIII, SE air cleaner and short shots. A couple other guys with an 07 Low Rider and a 07 Wide Glide also had theirs dyno'd and came up with about the same (about 1 or 2 numbers higher in hp or torque than mine) they both had stage 1 done to their bikes also.
Different dynos and operators produce different numbers. I would have been very disappointed in my numbers if I had only seen mine but since the other 2 bikes came out with about the same numbers no big deal.
Nice numbers Ken. Once I'm cleared to ride again we'll have to get out that way and take a ride. Cindi got her bike last week, an '08 Sporty 1200 Custom with some mods/add ons. Heading out this way anytime?
