Have taken a new ride today and didn't think it was the O-RING problem since it didn't do this last year. What I noticed off the bat is that when I changed the oil there was alot less taken out than put in. Before oil change dip stick was at half. This being my first oil change I wanted to make sure things were right so I filled the crankcase up to the FULL HOT level thinking this was best.
Well after reading to post and logical reasoning I decided to take out some oil and bring it back to the middle of the gauge.
Well after my ride today NO MORE SPLATTER!!! I guess that I made the mistake of putting too much oil in there.
Thanks everyone for your help and making me THAT MUCH WISER. All you help was greatly appreciated.
