Aside from the obvious disaster, how do you like the sound of the twin slash slip-ons? I just ordered a set for my FXDC this week.

take and sand the mufflers until they look like brushed nickel then clean them with rubbing alchol then buy a can of flat black exhaust wrap paint,paint the mufflers reinstall and the paint will bake on will look just like flat black powder coat.

They sound very good, deep and loud. I also like that you can get comp. baffles for them. Iam running standard baffles. All and all I think they are above and beyond better than the stock pipes. And when they dont have scatches on the heat shield they look real good on the bike, love that slash look. I have heard kind of a faint hiss sound when I rev it up, but that may be the new heavy breather air filter I have on it sucking hell of air. Dont know may be an exhaust leak.
