It's like a felt, I have not seen any scratches on my fender since using it.
I bought mine on ebay, there are a couple sellers on there that carry Mustang, one in Delaware and one in Maryland that have very good prices and fast shipping.
GM Cycles is where I bought mine.
did you use the mustang fender bib or the harley, waters?
thanks
I have the mustang bib, i keep it on all the time now and when i need to use the pillion seat it fits over the bib, just the end of the bib sticks out about half a inch.
have a c&c lopro solo seat coming in next week and want to get the fender bib to go with it. 2up seat left ugly scratches on fender somehow...
heard that they dont fit well with all seats though,
supposed to tuck under back of seat looking clean and factory dont want a gap
preciate itt
I don't know anything about the fender bib - but you'll love the seat you ordered.....I've been running mine for 2 years now and I've done up to 500 mile days on it with no problems. Looks cool too.
I have the mustang bib that I put on under the passenger pillion. I bought it off ebay. I started using it last year to cover scratches but now that i have new paint i use it to avoid scratches. So far so good. The bottom is flannel lined. I just tuck it under the the seat, I have the quick connect pillion kit so it fits under easily.
