Cleaning of the rear fender
I was looking at going with a solo seat on my 07 Street Glide. I took off the stock seat and noticed what appears to be some type of protective tape or something on the rear fender (where the passenger would sit) Does anyone have a way of cleaning this so it looks clean with a solo seat on it?

on my king there was no protective film. when i switched to the solo there was some serious damage to the fender from the plastic on the stock seat rubbing. i bought the fender cover from mustang and the separate passanger seat. so i can ride solo and the fender looks clean, and i can put the passanger seat back on without futher damaging the fender. might solve your problem if you still wanna ride 2 up sometimes.
