I have one that I leave on all the time, whether solo or 2up. Rather have the indents in the leather than my fender. Visit my web site and you can see pics of it with the solo, if you want.
I use the fender bib when im not going 2up, but i have a mustang vintage solo, it tucks under the seat and looks great. ill try and get a better pic when i get home.
i have the HD bib. i really like it and leave it on all the time. i mount my motherwell rack and 2up seat over top of it (not at the same time of course). it just keeps those seat bumpers (which are attached the the seat, not the fender) from polishing paint.
I was thinking about getting a bib for putting under my rear seat pillion when I put it on. I had someone on the back for the first time lastnight and when I took the rear pillion back off tonight I noticed a few little scratches there I don't like......
Think the HD one is low-profile enough to go UNDER the rear pillion, then take off and not have any scratches on the fender?
The Mustang works just fine under a pillion. I run mine under all the time. Can't imagine the HD is thinner, but if it is I would not want it for protecting my fender.
Cool! What's the bottom side of the Mustang like? Will it scratch with someone sitting on the pillion? Like I said, I usually run without anything on the back fender.
Where's a good place to find it........I'm sure a Google search would turn up the most expensive place first...
