It's about 4 inches further back from my previous seat, which was designed to push you further forward, dunno about a standard type seat...it's definetly low and further back though, not much to hold you forward especially when liberal with the throttle!
i have about a 30" inseam- i find the lepara with forward controls is a very comfortable leg position! and i stick in the lepara way better than the stocker. it has a deep dip that holds you well.
4 inches further back! I love the look of this seat, and am willing to deal with a little discomfort, but I'm not sure my 30" inseam has the room to reach my forward controls if I move back that far. 4 inches? Glad you posted before I pulled the trigger on another seat. Any other short legged dudes use this seat? Any suggestions for alternatives?
32 inch inseam here.
i'm not reaching for my controls any more than i was on the stock seat
the bare bones is much more narrow so any further back you're sitting (an inch over stock at most) is negated by the fact that you don't have to wrap your legs around the seat to keep your feet on the pegs.
Hey guys... I just posted a bunch of photos of my bike with my BB on it with and without the matching pillian... Check out the album... I LOVE the look of the BB.. it did move me back about an inch... inseam = 32... Im thinking about addint the forward control extensions... Im just not quite where I want to be position wise... and I either have a fat or iron ***... Ive noticed no pain riding yet...
Cheers!!

My sig has the BB up front. I like the seat, fits my short inseams short arms well. The up front adds a bit of padding in the rear to move you more to the stock riding position but lower. The extra padding also helps with comfort, as it pads the tail bone. Its a narrow seat. I use an air hawk on longer (2+hour) rides and it helps.
I bought me a Silhouette Solo from one of our Forum members that I picked up yesterday ... Looks so much better ! but,... not even close to as comfortable to my stock seat ...
