hi there, i received my seat and took less than 1 minute to install it. Ride for 1h 1/2 and my butt still feel find. Lot better than the stock FXD seat, and great look. Owners of the Barebones, what do you guys think about the seat? Is it better with time?
Nice ride man. I am curious too, looking to buy one myself, although I dont know if I want to give up the back support of my sidekick. def looks awesome though.
I have a Lepera Silhouette Solo on me SB and found it was pretty comfortable for shorter rides. Last weekend we had planned a ride that was gonna run close to 4 hours so I switched to the padded factory seat and what a mistake.
After 10 miles I was hurting from the weird angle and pressure against the outside of my hips.
I would have been better off with a sore tail bone (bony A$$) and the Lepera in the long run.
Ordred a Saddleman Renegade Solo with gel and what not while I send my Lepera off for gel and memory foam and keep the same profile.
