What Tanks are compatible?
Have a 2010 Wide Glide. As many have seen the posts, it was hit by a car and knocked over doing some damage. Well all is fixed besides the tank. It only has 2 quarter size dents in it, but being a brand new bike i have to fix it, as it would drive me nuts. I have the insurance money to do so. Through Harley the tank is $1200. Thats painted, ready to bolt on. My question is, are there other tanks that will fit? If you look on ebay for Wide Glide or Dyna tanks, there are tons of places i could get a custom painted tank for $800 that claim to fit 06 and later Dynas. The only real differance i can find between those Dynas and mine, is that the 10' model has a built in 3/4" lift. So is it possible i could throw a 2" Jackyl lift on a custom painted S.G. or S.B. tank and it would work with my dash panel? comments anyone?

The low Rider and Street Bob are the same style tank as the 2010 WG minus the lift the 10 WG may have.
The Fatbob, SGC, and older WG have a different tank and your dash panel will not bolt up to it.
