My 2010 Super Glide is not lowered, but I also have to lean it to the right to get the kickstand up or down.

I lowered my 2000 FXDL and found I had to put a 1" shorter kickstand on it to lean as it was close to straight up. I believe I found it at J&P Cycles. But they are available, in fact you might find one on ebay.

go to the harley shop and measure stands on differant models.. i belive the stand from a lowrider or an XL is about an inch shorter than your stock stand... these would be available from your dealer and alot better than an after market shorter stand..also a direct bolt on.... good luck and welcome to the forum!

you can grind 1/8-1/4" off the tab that contacts the frame to give it more lean but, that will not help you with having to lean it to the right a little to get your kickstand up.

That's what I ended up doing. Still have to lean it to the right to get the kickstand up and down but at least now it doesn't look like it'll fall over any time there's a breeze.
