Ooops - chrome tapered spacers - which side?
Did a search and couldn't find a thread with the answer but it's probably out there somewhere.
Anyway, I finally fixed my bad oil seal and am putting the front end back together. When I took the axle and spacers off, I could have sworn they were the same size so I didn't keep up with what side each was on. I haven't measured them but even to the naked eye, it appears one is slightly less thick than the other. Anyone know which side each of those goes on? Looking at the service manual, it appears that with the stock spacers, the shorter one goes on the right hand side of the bike (exhaust side opposite front brake). But I don't want to assume that's the same with these.
