eh its prob in the ball park where it should be i think . Maybe a bit on the high side but not absurd . I think it will look great been thinking about doing that also
I'd say about right. I was talking to a guy about getting my Fat Bob fender shortened and he was talking in the neighborhood of $550. Git R Done... It'll look sweet.
i'm adding more to my fender.. .well actually using 2 totally diff fenders to make one bad *** long one. But I would say.... do it yourself. It's not that much work, plus you'll learn a skill that you can use whenever you want to prep and paint, and it will be more fun.
Looks like it'll be a one of a kind unit, very different from the current trend of chopping fenders.Good luck, price really doesn't sound so bad.Good quality tin work is pricey.
Might want to send him a PM. He has been VERY busy lately. We spent over 12 hours on his bike yesterday. He hasnt even ridden his Harley yet this year! I'll point him at this thead when he comes over later for more wrenching.
Man, thats a great idea. I REALLY wish I had figured your idea out a couple weeks ago. I love what your doing. I wound up buying the steel Dyna dresser fender from debrix, but after seeing this post, your way looks like a really awsome alternative to the dresser idea. And shoot, I paid more just for my fender than your paying to get yours customized! I always seem you miss the great ideas.
