06 street bob question

Default 06 street bob question
Have any of you heard of an 06 street bob that could have a 96 ci motor instead of the 88? A buddy of mine is buying one and the vin is pulling up a 1584 and the dealer is selling it as such, insurance company comfirms. I was under the impression that the 1584 came out in 07. Any thoughts? Also, anyone know of a good site to do a vin look up? I googled it but couldn't find anything for Harleys over 2000.

06 is 88 cu,96 came out in 07.

06 Dyna Street Bobs had the bigger motor. Trial run before using the 96 in all the '07's.

I own the 06 street bob, it's got the 88. that bikes a 07.

It could be a 95. An 88 with big bore kit from the dealer.
