Backfiring isses

Tech-Thanks for the reply.
I didn't winterize b/c I ride year round.
I did take the carb apart and everything looked to be in good working order, gaskets good, no jets clogged.
I looked over the connections yesterday.
The bike went to the dealership at lunch, the tech said the check engine light coming on made him think it was electrical in nature. We'll see what they say when they call, hopefully before Thursday afternoon when I am supposed to leave.

Tech- Bought the bike with the pipes and Screaming Eagle Intake installed, has been running good for 2.5 years covering 15,000 miles.
Thanks again, I'll let them know what they find.
They did give me crap about the pipes and air cleaner though, as well as my slightly out of adjustment clutch and missing throttle return cable.
