Forward Controls & Crash bar?

Forward Controls & Crash bar?
I have a 05 FXD that has forward controls I want to do the fog lights & crash bar set up. Im 6ft2 & the forwards work great & going to mids isnt going to happen. So I'm curious is there a crash bar I can run with forwards?

I think Jardine makes one that will mount with fwd controls. There's probably a few out there that do. In my experience though, if you have big feet (I wear a 13), the bar will interfere with shifting and braking. Another option would be to mount the fog lights under the trees. I've seen a few that did this and turned out really cool looking. And if you want the crash bar for an additional foot position, a moustache bar might work out better.

i have crash bar and forward controls on my 03 fxd super glide its a harley parts # 49010-93 it attaches with one bolt on top and a u-bolt on either side of the frame at the bottom doesn't bolt on where fwd controls bolt on works fine for me i try 2 get some pics

I have the HD chrome crashbar with the peg mounts and a second set of NIB pegs on my 06 FXDL that I am considering taking off the bike and selling, if you decide it can work with the forward controls and are interested let me know.

you say 03 forwards... what exactly do you mean? are they factory or take offs from another bike? im trying the same thing and have the same engine guard, if I have your forwards it looks like i can make it work with pegs instead of floorboards.

New to the forum. Hi community.
Just got me a 2003 FXD with floorboards. Already laid the bike twice... the guilt is eating me. Need some highway bars that can be used with this (don't know how to pics yet). Sorry, can't see pics yet either.
Anybody knows of a brand that makes some (all I've seen so far seem to be not recomended with forward controls or floorboards) that can ship to México?
