Default 600+ mile weekend

I had a nice 600+ mile Saturday and Sunday on the WG this weekend. turned over 1200 miles on the trip and she'll be going to get the 1000 mile service done at the dealership today.

All in all it was a great ride. Not impressed with the suspension though, it's a bit soft for my liking.

You can stiffen up the rear springs/shocks with a spanner wrench. I'm at 1,200 miles on my bike too, congrats, ride safe!

I tend to agree on the soft susp. Coming out of some soft twisties and hitting a little bump you can really feel it move. Plan on stiffening mine up and dropping it an inch and see how she feels after that. From other posts i have seen they are saying this improves it considerably.

I put over 700 miles on the bike, two up, this weekend. I really need to adjust the suspension.

Cowpokey - Is the front suspension adjustable?

Just got the spanner wrench this passed Saturday from dealer ($10.95)94448-82B. Mine was set on the lowest setting I think. I really can't see the groves. I moved them up one click and it rides much better solo.

Not that I'm aware of. I think the front shocks would have to be modified.

Cheapest way to stiffen the front end is change the oil in the forks to the SE High Perf oil from HD, it will make a difference.
