Thanks all!
I don't know why I find this torture fun but I'm glad some others around me in the group I ride with feel the same way. I don't know, but these rides sort of remind me of a gumball rally or something which I was intrigued by when I was little. Oh and I went to the psych doctor after the ride. Here's a representation of me at the docs office..
I arrive
The Doc sees me and I tell him about the ride
The Doc gives me treatment
I go home

Been wanting to do the 1000 mile ride. Should be no problem on a big touring bike running the interstates. I did ride 750 miles on a shovelhead to daytona years ago stopping for nothing but gas. Do you get a certificate for that?
