Default IBA Saddlesore 2000

Well I may be an idiot but I'm going to attempt a Saddlesore 2000 ride which is 2000 miles in 48 hours or less. So far 8 other guys are going to be travelling with me.
Leaving out this coming Friday morning May 21st from Portsmouth Va and will be travelling through Virginia, Tennesee, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Should be home sometime early in the morning Sunday before the sun comes up.

Wish us luck and please someone pray with me for no rain.

I'll have myself checked into the psych ward upon returning.

I was reading at Bike Living mag about stretching exercises, and calisthenics before in between and after riding, plenty of Hydration, small snacks thru the day instead of 3 big meals. Have a safe Ride

I have thought about attempting it sometime, but last year me and the wife road straight from Texas to Kentucky over 700 miles all night long after i had just finished working a 10 hour shift. That i wont ever do again and wont reccomend. Now if i had been riding during the day with a good nights rest, another 300 wouldnt have been a problem at all!!!
