Keep in mind that most of the big talkers will ride the bike to the nearest coffee shop even in the biggest wind. I know Minot ND. The coffee shops aren't that close.
coffee shop huh and we should be impressed with nd? Anyhow to each his own, but been in 40 mph winds from tucson to texas coming from diego and i don't know felt great. I can understand a windshield riding hard @ 90 mph over 5 hours, but come on man! That's been my experience have a road king with 12" carlini chino apes and feels perfect. Maybe the guys with windshields should consider riding position, handle bar reach, seat etc....can these guys change their own oil or wrench makes me wonder

Hey; I spent 5 years 1 winter in ND wrenching on a helicopter. The wind blows 24/7 and aint no fun. If you can put up with that, you're a better man than me and I've been on 2 wheels since I was 11, and now I'm almost 63. Raced Go Karts (#3 in national championships in 1962), midjets and motorcycles. Been there, done that, and I LIKE my windshield in my old age. Oh yea, I'm an A.S.E. master technician and a certified aircraft mechanic, I can do way more than change my oil, I even have my own shop nowadays. Why would you say something like this anyway, very bad manners. The wind was probably at your back and you were doing 60, 20 mph wind, very rough indeed, "snort"!!! Be nice.
50 mph lol what a joke, i can run faster than that! You have no business on a scooter! Just buy a convertible car! B**** u probably one of those that wears a bandana on the weekends huh and a big chain on your trousers! Hahaha ride to ride not to be seen! Knees 2 da wind!
Maybe save these stupid tough guy remarks for the off topic and political threads. No reason to polute the entire forum with crap. I have my screen and QD it when I dont want it.

You can run faster than 50 mph? Seriously? Wow..I'm impressed! Can I have your autograph?
You had to bump a several month old thread just to post something idiotic like this?
Some people adjust to riding faster than others, yet many of those others that don't catch on quickly will eventually pick it up and continue for a long life of enjoying riding.
Oh yeah, way to help out the image of riders....you're a real poster child! Now have a seat and remain in the corner.
And one more thing, my "wimpshield"..which I can take on and off in under 20 seconds depending on my mood and what I'll be doing (but it's nice to have MY choice..and it was nice to have MY WIMPSHIELD ON while taking a 3 hour ride while the temp was in the upper 30's F this weekend)...I've been changing my oil in my bikes, cars, trucks, tractors, and my boats..for over 30 years.
