This is just my opinion but I think others share it as well - on a dyna, there are 4 things that are very practical but usually kill the looks of the bike, especially if you have the bike setup in a sort of solo, barhopper type bike - and those are a touring type seat, saddle bags, practical sissy bar, or big *** windshield. When you need them, you need them, but they just usually won't compliment the bike's looks.
You speak the truth. I hate how mine looks with my medium sissybar on, but its there to make my wife more comfortable or to strap my touring bag to, and it comes off when I don't need it. If only detachable saddle bags weren't so damn expensive.
I got the Low in a detachable sissy bar. I only use it when my wife rides and when I have to carry a backpack to work. It's nice on long trips for carrying clothes and extra tools. But, I don't put it on unless I have to. I hate the look of it, but I finally got my wife to like motorcycles this way, so I'm stuck with it...

Anyone got the part# for detach mounting kit that keeps the rear indicators in the same position..have fixed sideplates fitted now but want to change...
Maybe pics of the set up around the indicators ???
I have the 18" Cycle Visions Attitude Stick. I love the looks, but my gf hates that she can't lean back on it. I hate the looks of the other options for the FB, so she's just gonna have to live with it.

I agree, I went from Sleek to Geek but after many miles in comfort and convenience theres no going back for me.
