Would the T-Bag "Lonestar" have any issue on the medium low? That's a big a** bag you've got on there, but no way am I going to put a sissy bar that tall on. I just couldn't do it.
I agree, I went from Sleek to Geek but after many miles in comfort and convenience theres no going back for me.

It looks good for tour duty IMHO, definitely very functional and pretty much the best option for overnight rides, meaning no saddlebags. I'm with you like the solo seat and the bare rear fender of the dyna, but when it comes to a longer ride, mine will be setup similar to yours.
I've got the "short" with rigid side plates, if you want to see what that looks like. Everything else seemed too tall for my tastes, with the "mini" being way too small. The only person that rides with me is my 10 year old daughter, and she says it's just fine. It's main purpose is to support a duffel bag or backpack strapped to the seat.

That's what I did, except I attached a mini-sissy bar bag to mine.
I kinda dig it. Sort of. It's one of those 'function over form' things, IMO. Gotta have a little room to carry stuff. And I don't think it detracts from the looks of the Bike.
edit: I thought I put a picture of my bike in my 'signature' but maybe it takes a few minutes for the forum software to catch up. Or maybe I did it wrong.

I got a custom 20" above rear fender and i love it not very pratical though but the little lady has to put up with that for the security of not falling off the back.
