fat bob too the rescue
Had an issue with a o8 road king, not mine, he lost his key fob code. Kinda stuck in the cemetary,if you will. We were on color guard detail and had our four ways on. well this guy managed too enable his security code and disabled his key fob .We were ready to leave an well , he wasn't. callerd the local dealer thinking maybe enter 1111 for a code but no luck. 
now this guy is starting too panic, So I started up my o8 fat bob, kept it running and popped open my key fob. took his key fob apart and switched batt. and voila!! road king started right up' I dunno if his was a dead battery in the fob , I doubt it. My question is why switch batteries? the fukken bike doesn't know the diffrence . Just an observation too an already effed up day, funeral , wake you get the picture. I'm thinking just take out the battery and replace. any thoughts??!!

Code should be 13131 or 31313, something like that if it's still on default. I changed mine the day I bought it. Did yours work with the battery from his fob? Maybe the battery is just getting weak, like spinning the batteries in a tv remote to change the channel when you don't feel like running to the store for a new set of AAs.
