my first impression of the sg's brakes was that I had to apply more pressure on the controls than what i was use to. Ive done a panic stop and a few unexpected slow-downs on corners and have no complaints. They are there when you need them! New tires need scrubbed and new brakes need broke in.

Read owners Manual.
