I want a tack and will need a speedo recalibrator so for not much more that unit you got looks like the way to go.
As somebody asked earlier, can you read it in the sunlight.

I have not been anywhere yet that I cannot easily read the gauge. The speedo calibration is very easy with this unit as well. Not sure if the round one has gear indicator, but that was actually the hardest thing to setup, the provided instructions were not very clear on a couple points, but once you figure it out it is very easy too.
Very cool man! What about the tach. Is their some kind of kit you need to hookup for the tach to work?
May be different on different models, but since my unit was not plug n play, I had to splice into one of my coil wires, not a big deal to do. You just have to make sure you splice into the front cylinder wire.
WOW! Alot of questions lets see if I can answer them all.Model# MCL-3204.
The only time that I found it hard to see is if the sun is shinning right into it and reflecting right into your eyes.
No other hookups for the tach as long as your ecm sends the signal.
It comes to you reading 0 you have to set the odometer yourself the mfg doesn't do it. Once you set it you are locked out and can't change it again. If you don't set it right away the option disapears after 100 miles.
Yes the temperature feature does work. I think it is the head temps not the oil.
The gear indicator was easy to set for me and it works pretty good.
Yes you use the stock button it is wired into the connector.
This wasn't asked but I found out the hard way it is waterproof. There was a big thunderstorm while I was at work today and my bike got soaked. I wish my seat was as waterproof.
